Snitching On Diddy
Yesterday Dexter Isaac, an associate of James 'Jimmy Henchmen' Rosemond, confessed to shooting and robbing Tupac Shakur in the infamous robbery at Quad Studios in New York. At the end of Isaac's confession he says he'll soon give closure to Tupac and Biggies' mothers regarding their son's murders and name checks Sean 'Diddy' Combs implying Diddy will be the next to be exposed...
Please Don't Approch Cee Lo in the Airport
Cee Lo Green knows he's talented and knows you love him. He just doesn't feel like being bothered by your adoration in the airport...
Cee Lo Green, who is reportedly making $75,000 an episode as a judge on NBC's "The Voice," claims his newfound fame is exhausting. "To have to talk and talk and talk -- it takes a toll on you," he told the Hollywood Reporter's new issue. "There's no way you can avoid people unless you can afford to fly private all the time, and I can't . . . It's a toll of being talented." Green shouldn't be too self-assured. According to the magazine his fellow "Voice" judge Christina Aguilera is bringing home $225,000 per episode.

BUY AMERICAN
Did y’all see that Diane Sawyer has a special report coming up this week. They removed ALL items from a typical, middle class family's home that were not made in the USA .
There was hardly anything left besides the kitchen sink. Literally. During the special they are going to show truckloads of items - USA made - being brought in to replace everything and will be talking about how to find these items and the difference in price etc..
It was interesting that Diane said that if every American spent just $64 more than normal on USA made items this year, it would create something like 200,000 new jobs!
I WAS BUYING FOOD THE OTHER DAY AT WALMART and ON THE LABEL OF SOME PRODUCTS IT SAID 'FROM CHINA ’
FOR EXAMPLE THE "OUR FAMILY" BRAND OF THE MANDARIN ORANGES SAYS RIGHT ON THE CAN 'FROM CHINA '
I WAS SHOCKED SO FOR A FEW MORE CENTS I BOUGHT THE LIBERTY GOLD BRAND OR THE DOLE SINCE IT'S FROM CALIF.
Are we Americans as dumb as we appear --- or --- is it that we just do not think while the Chinese, knowingly and intentionally, export inferior and even toxic products and dangerous toys and goods to be sold in American markets?
70% of Americans believe that the trading privileges afforded to the Chinese should be suspended.
Why do you need the government to suspend trading privileges? DO IT YOURSELF, AMERICA !!
Simply look on the bottom of every product you buy, and if it says 'Made in China ' or 'PRC' (and that now includes Hong Kong ), simply choose another product, or none at all. You will be amazed at how dependent you are on Chinese products, and you will be equally amazed at what you can do without.
Who needs plastic eggs to celebrate Easter? If you must have eggs, use real ones and benefit some American farmer. Easter is just an example. The point is do not wait for the government to act. Just go ahead and assume control on your own.
THINK ABOUT THIS: If 200 million Americans refuse to buy just $20 each of Chinese goods, that's a billion dollar trade imbalance resolved in our favor...fast!!
Most of the people who have been reading about this matter are planning on implementing this on May 1st and continue it until June 1st. That is only one month of trading losses, but it will hit the Chinese for 1/12th of the total, or 8%, of their American exports. Then they might have to ask themselves if the benefits of their arrogance and
lawlessness were worth it.
Remember, June 1 TO July 1st !!!!!!
START NOW.
Send this to everybody you know. Let's show them that we are Americans and NOBODY can take us for granted.
If we can't live without cheap Chinese goods for one month out of our lives, WE DESERVE WHAT WE GET!
Pass it on, America .

Chris Brown Outburst

Robin Roberts has said Chris Brown pre-approved the questions she asked him on Good Morning America before his rampage, so do you think Chris is just trying to ride the Charlie Sheen everybody loves a bad boy wave or do you think he suffers from a serious mental disorder? And by the way F.A.M.E is #1 on iTunes today...

Where are you Smokey!
Chris Tucker Money Talks - Click here for this week’s top video clips

Where are ya bro, there are laughs to be had.

I still laugh my ass off when he does the whole "BZZZZZ" thing.
FRIDAY was the film that started opening doors for this young actor and I’m not surprised. Sure, his language was brazen and over the top but his razor sharp wit and charisma were hard to ignore.

FRIDAY 2 and 3 weren't the same without the smoke dog.

Almost A Done Deal

Shaq and Shaunie's divorce is a done deal.
According to reports, Shaq and Shaunie finalized their divorce, child custody agreement, property split and support orders. No word on the details yet, but they'll probably leak out the closer we get to the April 11th air date of Shaunie's new reality show, Basketball Wives.
Shaunie is also in this month's Essence magazine explaining that the reason she stayed in her 11 year marriage with Shaq through all the cheating was because she didn't want her kids to grow up in a broken home.

Mike Tyson Got Arrested

at LAX yesterday after he got into a little skirmish with a paparazzi. Ok, it wasn't a little skirmish it was a one punch knock-out. The pap got in Mike's face at the ticket counter, trying to get a picture of Mike and his 10 month old daughter, and Mike socked the shit out of him. Paparazzi Guy hit the ground, gashed his forehead and was taken to the ER and Mike was hauled off to jail. Tyson maintains he acted in self defense and was released on his own recognizance. Both men have been booked on misdemeanor battery charges.

Chaka Kahn & Whitney Houston

CHAKA KHAN's friendship with WHITNEY HOUSTON fell apart after the younger soul star refused her pal's help in beating a drug addiction.
Khan helped Houston kickstart her career by recruiting the then-teenager to sing background vocals on her 1980 album Naughty and the pair became close friends.
The I'm Every Woman hitmaker finally kicked her own substance abuse problems in the 1990s and offered to help Houston overcome her crack cocaine addiction - but the star turned her down.
Khan tells Britain's OK! magazine, "I love her very much, but we're not close any more. I reached out, but she doesn't want my help. Maybe she thinks I'm going to confront her, but after what I've been though, c'mon..."

Ebony Magazine For Sale?

It's been a year of excruciating decisions for publishing companies—layoffs, pullbacks, reduction in advertising dollars, closures. Now it appears Johnson Publishing’s chairman and CEO, Linda Johnson Rice, has reached what must have been an agonizing decision: Johnson Publishing is seeking a buyer or investor for its flagship publication, Ebony, in an effort aimed at securing the survival of the nation's oldest magazine devoted to African-American life.
In 1942, with a $500 loan collateralized with his mother's furniture, John Johnson launched what would become the world's largest African-American-owned publishing company. Three years later he began publishing Ebony, which changed the face of publishing and media.

Dry, Damaged & Bald
Oh my God!DAMAGED!
DRY!!
BALD!!!
Unless the beautician who took this picture was about to wave a magic wand over this lady's head and make a miracle outta what he or she had to work with, this picture shoulda NEVER made its way on the internet. I swear, it's things like this that make me feel like mother nature be smokin the HELL outta SOME kinda herb when certain traits are giving out in men and women, cause if any of you are still keeping up with Real Chance of Love over on VH-1, then you know Real's hair is still killing hoes....

Why Does It Have To Come To This?

Situations like way up top wouldn't be so severe. How many times have we seen this? Sistas, you GOTTA stop pullin' them chillunz hair so tight. Loosen up them braids and pony tails some. Don't nobody wanna go to sleep with a traction head-ache and by the time they're old enough to do they own hair, end up walkin' around with a run-way on both sides of their head. Lace-fronts aside, that is NOT a good look.

Era Of Labels
Oh, how I remember the golden era of urban record labels back in the mid to late 90's.
I was sitting up thinking the other day about how certain rappers or groups were at their absolute best when they were in the fold of a talented team. Labels like:
SO SO DEF, DEATH ROW, ROCAFELLA, BAD BOY.
I think it's absolutely unanimous that these 4 label conglomerates were definately on the best games when there was unity among them.

* SO SO DEF: So they weren't as dangerous on the rap game as the 3 others, but you gotta admit, when Jermaine had Brat & Jagged Edge on his team, they stayed on the charts. After dropping Kriss Kross off on skid row too, I guess Jermaine Dupri added a nice touch with the little pup we remember called Lil' Bow Wow. Before he got grown and cocky, I actually thought he had charisma and you have to admit, when he was workin' with Jermaine, he made his best work. Same with Brat, same Jagged Edge. I'm sure So So Def had some other artists back during their golden era but these 3 artists are the ones that were obviously nurtured the most, so that's why I remember them. But what happened? Bow Wow grew up and left the nest, Brat hit some broad over the head with a Rum bottle and now she's in prison for 3 years and Jermaine just lost his job over at Def Jam. J.E. still tryin' but they have yet to bring back the baby makin' ballads like they used to.....BUT...... we'll always have the memories, right?

* ROCAFELLA: You know damn well Jay-Z is not on the same calibur, lyrically, as he was back when THIS dynasty was together. Richer, yeah....better as a rapper, no. Back when he and Damon were friends, the chemistry between their team was awesome. Beanie Seigal and Memphis Bleek both had the craziest flows I had ever heard at that time, but they were at their best when they worked TOGETHER. A-Mil...like, I wasn't about to sit up and listen to a whole album by her, but when she jumped on and guest appeared on a track with the team, the girl was off the charts with hers. Nobody sounded like her. There are so many cuts.....I can't even explain. This is the Rocafella that I remember.....not this watered down excuse for a label that Kanye West is the franchise player of. This was the Rocafella who's symbol was a simple R with a record encased inside it, not this Mason diamond we're fed now. Unfortunately, you know what happened, Dame and Jay-Z "broke up", Amil was dropped off on skid row without an explaination and Beanie and Memph were expected to choose....they chose Jay-Z and ended up with "shelved" careers. But......we'll always have the memories, right?

* BAD BOY: I ain't gon' even front. During their golden era, I was "team West" the whole time but i'll give credit where credit is do. Some of the GREATEST R&B albums came outta that era over there @ Bad Boy. While I could totally do without Puffy all over everybody's songs and videos and Mase's lazy flow, it's a no brainer that Lil' Kim had the roughest voice ever known to man back then. Nobody had a chick on their crew like her. Biggie....lyrically, Biggie was by far NEW YORK all the way. I don't think New York ever LEFT the game but Biggie made sure the spotlight showed on them for a reason. The R & B of Faith's first albums on the label, as well as Carl Thomas and 112...Puffy can NEVER duplicate that. Ever. Total had some cuts too and the only thing I cared about that Black Rob did was "Whoa" but back between '94-'97, Bad Boy was THAT Label 'cause they kept goin' even after Death Row's demise. Unfortunately for him, Puffy's tactics lost everybody. We started hearin' about publishing disputes and artists not getting enough attention, why? Because Puffy was too busy marketing himself and making his OWN albums, now Bad Boy has a reputation of doom should anybody be stupid enough to sign over there......but we'll always have the memories, right?

DEATH ROW: Even amid the inner violence and alledged drug money that fronted the joint, that label was by far, what set the West Coast - behind NWA - on the map as far as music was concerned. Everybody's rap game over there was sick. Dre on production was bananas, I mean, it made you proud to say, yeah, you know, I'M from California too! I still listen to the albums that came outta that camp and to this day, there's nothin' like it. They made a definate signature on the West Coast sound. The flow of Snoop in his prime, the griminess of the Dogg Pound, the fearlessness of Tupac, the ghetto hooks of Nate Dogg, and don't even get me started on Lady of Rage's lyrical genius, all topped over Dre beats? I mean, any time they did a feature on each other's albums, you knew it was gonna be crazy. They had the BEST formula! After Dre left, and Pac died, and Snoop distanced himself, things were never the same. Dogg Pound got WHACK, Daz gained WEIGHT and Rage started acting like a clown on the Steve Harvey Show....not to mention Nate Dogg's stalkish behavior and multiple strokes....I mean, damn......I guess we'll always have the memories.

That Machine Should Be On

So it could boil or singe his narrow hip, give him a reason to REGRET bein' a part of this photo shoot. Deer in the headlights nigga. If my son EVER......*frowns and shakes head*
What's the motivation behind this??? Somebody OBVIOUSLY embarrassed somewhat, seeings how they behind the house doin' this crap, and not in the front yard. Maybe he wasn't quite ready before the flash went off.....and maybe somebody woke him up real early in the mornin' and asked him to take a look at the meter, and that's why he ain't got no clothes on. Yeah....he musta jus'......"tumbled" on that machine by mistake and a silly relative snapped a picture, 'cause there is no way in hell a self respecting black man would deliberately pose like this. And oh my God, he's got a wedding band on *throws laptop*.......i'm over it.

ACQUITTAL FOR SINGER IN TONI BRAXTON CASE
.jpg)
Trina Johnson-Finn, the celebrity impersonator accused of trying to fool concert goers in Suriname into thinking she was Toni Braxton, was acquitted Tuesday following three months in jail awaiting a verdict.
Judge Robby Rodrigues said it wasn't clear whether Johnson-Finn knew that concert-goers had been led to believe she was really Braxton, reports the Associated Press.
The Las Vegas entertainer was booed offstage and pelted with beer cans by a crowd of about 3,000 people in February when they realized she was not the six-time Grammy winner best known for the hit, "Un-break My Heart." Some had paid as much as $53 per ticket.
"We'd like to once again express our apologies to the people of Suriname who lost their ... earnings at the hands of those who deceived them as well as us," husband Raymond Finn said in a statement.
"I'm delighted with the judge's decision," Johnson-Finn told reporters outside the courtroom. "It was hard dealing with the situation knowing I was innocent. But now I just want to go back home and hug my family, my husband. I haven't seen them for so long."
Defense attorney Kathleen Brandon said that part of the problem is that Surinamese are not familiar with the business of celebrity impersonating.
Concert promoter Angel Ventura and his girlfriend, Signet Sampson, are expected to stand trial in July. Ventura initially said that Johnson-Finn knew about the scam from the beginning, according to police, but he later retracted that allegation.
